Environmental policy

Environmental Policy

Practical choices as we deliver Help Us Fly.

Help Us Fly is a service from AI Diagnostic Systems Ltd. This policy guides how we consider environmental impact while keeping business suitability, security and reliability central to delivery.

Digital-first delivery

We aim to avoid unnecessary paper by using secure digital records, evidence capture, reporting and handover wherever practical. The Help Us Fly Work Centre is intended to keep delivery records digitally instead of relying on duplicated paper forms.

Travel

We use remote meetings and digital collaboration where they are suitable and effective. When on-site work is needed, we plan delivery sensibly to avoid unnecessary journeys. Some work is best done in person.

Equipment and technology

We aim to use existing equipment effectively where appropriate, avoid needless replacement of usable technology, and favour repair, reuse and responsible disposal where practical. We consider energy efficiency when recommending technology, alongside suitability, security and reliability.

Procurement and waste

Where practical and proportionate, we consider environmental impact when choosing technology, services and suppliers. Electronic equipment that must be discarded should go through appropriate responsible recycling or disposal routes. We do not encourage hardware replacement when a practical alternative exists.

Business improvements

Where relevant to an SME engagement, environmental benefit can be considered alongside productivity, cost, reliability, customer experience, staff time and operational resilience. We do not impose an environmental objective on every business improvement. The business need remains primary.

Responsibility and review

AI Diagnostic Systems Ltd has overall responsibility for this policy. Staff and future delivery users should follow it in day-to-day Help Us Fly activity. We will review our practices as the service develops and meaningful operational evidence becomes available. Measurable targets may be introduced when there is enough evidence to set them responsibly.

Last reviewed: October 2026. This policy will be reviewed periodically and when significant changes to Help Us Fly operations justify it.
